인천보호관찰소, ‘전자감독 관계기관 협의회’ 개최

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 법무부 인천보호관찰소가 27일, 전자감독 대상자의 전자장치 훼손 및 강력범죄 차단을 위한 협력 방안을 논의하고자 ‘전자감독 관계기관 협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

인천보호관찰소에 따르면,  대회의실에서 개최된 협의회에는 인천지방경찰청 및 관내 10개 경찰서(미추홀·중부·남동·논현·부평·연수·삼산·인천서부·계양·강화) 전자감독 담당 경찰관, 인천보호관찰소 관계자 등 총 30명이 참석했다. 

이날 회의에서는 인천광역 내 전자감독 대상자 현황 및 재범 고위험군 대상자 정보 등을 공유하고, 전자장치 훼손·도주사건 발생 시 신속한 검거 공조 체계 구축 방안 등 다양한 의견을 교환하며, 실질적 대응책을 모색했다. 

문희갑 인천보호관찰소장은 “전자감독 대상자의 관리·감독에 대한 국민적 관심과 기대가 높아진 만큼, 경찰 등 유관기관과의 긴밀하고 유기적인 협조를 통해 성폭력 등 강력범죄를 차단하고, 안전한 지역사회 조성에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

The Incheon Probation Office of the Ministry of Justice announced on the 27th that it held an ‘Electronic Supervision Related Organization Council’ to discuss cooperation measures to prevent damage to electronic devices and violent crimes of electronic supervision subjects.

According to the Incheon Probation Office, a total of 30 people attended the council held in the conference room, including police officers in charge of electronic supervision from the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency and 10 police stations in the jurisdiction (Michuhol, Jungbu, Namdong, Nonhyeon, Bupyeong, Yeonsu, Samsan, Incheon Seobu, Gyeyang, and Ganghwa), and officials from the Incheon Probation Office.

At the meeting, the status of electronic supervision targets in the Incheon metropolitan area and information on high-risk repeat offenders were shared, and various opinions were exchanged, such as ways to establish a quick arrest cooperation system in the event of electronic device damage or escape incidents, and practical countermeasures were sought.



Incheon Probation Office Director Moon Hee-gap said, “As the public interest and expectations for the management and supervision of electronic supervision targets have increased, we will do our best to block serious crimes such as sexual violence and create a safe community through close and organic cooperation with related organizations such as the police.”
