[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 대통령 선거를 앞두고 각 정당의 발걸음이 바빠지는 가운데, 국민의힘 김문수 대통령 후보는 28일 부산 서면 쥬디스태화 앞 젊음의 거리에서 대규모 집중 유세를 펼쳤다.
‘필승으로 이어질, 부산의 함성’이라는 이름 아래 김 후보는 경제 부흥과 민주주의 수호, 부산의 글로벌 해양 허브 도약을 약속하며 선명한 대안과 강한 메시지로 시민들의 이목을 집중시켰다.
김문수 후보는 “부산에서 다시 시작하자. 일자리·해양경제·민주주의를 살릴 정직한 대통령이 되겠다”며, “산업은행의 부산 이전, 가덕도 신공항 완공, 글로벌 해양도시 특별법 제정 등을 통해 부산이 다시 대한민국의 중심이 될 것”이라고 강조했다.
이날 유세에는 정의화 전 국회의장, 안철수·권성동·김기현·이헌승·박수영 의원 등 당내 주요 인사들이 총출동해 김 후보의 부산 공략에 힘을 보탰다.
김 후보는 자신이 ‘일자리 대통령’이 되겠다고 약속했다. 그는 “저는 도지사 8년 동안 도시 개발을 누구보다 많이 했다. 광교 신도시, 판교 신도시, 평택 고덕 신도시 등, 삼성전자의 세계 최대 120만 평 반도체 단지를 외국으로 나가려는 걸 경기도에 유치했다”며, “대한민국 일자리의 43%를 경기도에서 만들었다. 산업은행뿐만 아니라 좋은 기업들이 부산에 많이 오게 하고, 외국으로 나가려는 현대·기아자동차를 붙잡아 대한민국에서 더 발전시켜, 젊은이를 위한 일자리를 많이 만들겠다”고 다짐했다.
이어 김 후보는 “이재명 후보는 대장동, 30만 평도 안 된다. 조그만 개발 하나에, 많은 사람이 죽고, 구속되고, 너무나 많은 소란이 있었다"고 비판하며 "그러나 저는 그 수십 배의 개발을 통해 신도시와 산업단지를 만들고, 기업을 유치하고, 고속철도 GTX도 만들었다”고 자신의 치적을 내세웠다.
또한 김 후보는 “이재명 후보는 연설할 때 방탄조끼를 입고도 불안해서 방탄유리까지 덮고 연설한다”라며, “지은 죄가 많은 사람은 아무리 방탄조끼를 두 벌, 세 벌 입고, 방탄유리를 덮어도 양심 앞에서는 떨 수밖에 없다. 인간은 자기 양심을 속일 수 없다”고 직격했다.

김 후보는 “저는 학생운동, 노동운동을 하다 두 번 감옥에 가서 2년 반을 살았다”며, “감옥에 앉아 있으면 방탄조끼도, 방탄유리도 필요 없다. 죄를 많이 지은 사람은 어디로 가야 하는가”라고 반문했다.
이어 그는 “대한민국 민주주의를 제대로 세우겠다”며, “지금 우리는 독재로 갈 것이냐, 민주로 갈 것이냐의 기로에 서 있다. 여러분의 뜨거운 함성이 오늘 대한민국을 민주국가로 만들었다. 부마항쟁은 어떤 독재에도 굴하지 않은 부산 시민들의 화끈한 정신과 투쟁이다. 여러분의 기운을 받아 대한민국 민주주의를 바로 세우겠다”고 다짐했다.
김 후보는 “'적반하장'이란 말 아실 것이다. 도둑이 경찰봉을 빼앗아 오히려 경찰을 몽둥이로 두들겨 팬다는 것”이라며, “이재명 후보는 며칠 전 대법원에서 공직선거법 허위사실 유포죄로 유죄 판결을 받았음에도 대법원장을 탄핵하고, 특검과 청문회를 열겠다고 한다”고 비판했다.
이어 “자신을 재판한 대법원장과 대법관들을 탄핵하고 특검을 요구한다면, 판사들이 양심대로 재판을 할 수 없다”면서, “또 자신을 수사한 검사를 탄핵했는데, 도둑이 자신을 수사한 경찰을 탄핵하고 파면하는 것과 같다. 이는 있을 수 없는 일”이라고 공세를 폈다.
김 후보는 이재명 후보의 ‘방탄 총통 독재 국가’를 경고하며, “어제 이낙연 전 국무총리와도 대한민국이 ‘방탄 괴물 독재 국가’로 가고 있다는 데 의견을 같이했다”며, “이재명 후보는 방탄조끼로도 안 되고, 방탄유리로도 안 되고, 방탄 입법으로도 안 되니, 아예 입법부·행정부·사법부를 다 장악해 자신만을 위한 총통제 권력을 만들려 한다. 이 범죄자의 ‘방탄 총통 독재 국가’를 민주화의 힘이 있는 부산 시민들이 막아내야 한다”고 주장했다.
그는 “부산 시민 여러분은 독재를 막아낼 수 있는 민주화의 힘이 있다”며, “투표로 막아야 한다. 6월 3일 본투표뿐만 아니라 내일부터 시작되는 사전투표에도 반드시 참여해 달라”고 호소했다.
김 후보는 “기권하면 여러분과 자녀, 손자들 모두 이 방탄 괴물 독재 국가에서 살아야 한다”며, “확실하게 독재를 막고, 괴물 국가를 막고, 정상적인 선진 민주국가를 만들어 달라”고 재차 호소했다.
