(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 4일,‘2025 APEC 인천 국제회의’의 성공적인 개최를 위한 준비에 돌입했으며, 이를 함께할 시민 자원봉사자 140여 명을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 오는 7월 26일부터 8월 15일까지 인천 송도컨벤시아에서 아시아태평양경제협력체(APEC) 제3차 고위관리회의를 비롯해 디지털장관회의, 식량안보장관회의, 여성경제장관회의, 반부패 고위급대화 등 주요 회의가 개최된다.
이번 기간 총 200여 개의 관련 회의가 열릴 예정이며, APEC 회원국 장관급 인사와 각국 대표단 등 약 4,000명이 인천을 방문할 것으로 전망된다.
자원봉사자 모집은 6월 9일 오전 9시부터 6월 18일 오후 6시까지 진행된다.
희망자는 (사)인천광역시자원봉사센터 누리집에서 신청서를 다운로드 후 이메일 신청하면 된다.
모집 대상은 모집공고일 기준 만 18세 이상 내외국인 누구나 지원 가능하며 국제행사 자원봉사 경험이 있거나, 의료 분야 자격을 소지한 자 등은 우대하여 선발할 계획이다.
자원봉사자는 1차와 2차 선발 과정을 거쳐 7월 중 최종 선정된다.
최종 선발된 자원봉사자들은 7월 24일부터 8월 4일까지 1차 활동기간, 8월 5일부터 8월 16일까지 2차 활동기간(각각 12일) 동안 셔틀버스 동행, 인천공항, 행사장, 숙소(송도) 안내데스크 분야 등에 배치되어 하루 8시간(점심시간 포함) 행사 운영 요원으로 활동하게 된다.

Incheon City announced on the 4th that it has begun preparations for the successful hosting of the '2025 APEC Incheon International Conference' and is recruiting approximately 140 citizen volunteers to participate.
According to Incheon City, major conferences such as the 3rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Senior Officials' Meeting, Digital Ministerial Meeting, Food Security Ministerial Meeting, Women's Economy Ministerial Meeting, and High-level Anti-Corruption Dialogue will be held at Incheon Songdo Convensia from July 26 to August 15.
