【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항상공회의소(회장 나주영)는 6월 17일 오전 11시 지곡 영일대에서 '2024년도 민·산·관 기술협력위원회'를 개최하고, 올해 연구개발 및 기술지도 성과를 점검하는 한편 2025년도 애로기술 지원 과제를 논의하는 자리를 가졌다.

이날 회의에는 나주영 회장을 비롯해 권혁원 일자리경제국장, 전종연 경영기획실장 등 기술협력위원들이 참석했다.
회의에서는 2024년 한 해 동안 추진된 연구개발 및 기술지도 주요 성과가 보고됐다. HBI 제조업체 ㈜제일산기는 HBI 제조공정의 고온 브리킷 냉각장치인 Rotary Cooler의 Blade 배열을 최적화해 동일 RPM 기준 생산성을 25% 향상시키는 성과를 거두었으며, 추가 특허 확보 가능성도 확인됐다.
수처리제 전문업체 ㈜한승케미칼은 중대재해 예방을 위한 작업자 안전 모니터링 시스템을 구축, 6개 작업장에 AI 기반 지능형 CCTV를 설치해 지게차 접근 알림 및 보호구 미착용 경고 기능을 구현하여 안전사고 예방 효과를 높였다.
배전반 및 전기자동제어장치 제조업체 ㈜케이텍은 원격지 공장의 무인 안전관리를 위해 보호구 착용 여부를 모니터링하는 지능형 출입 감시 시스템을 도입했으며, 본사 원격 감시 체계를 구축해 무인 공장의 안전 사각지대를 해소했다.
금속가공업체 ㈜중문은 고소음 작업환경 근로자의 청력 보호를 위해 스마트 귀마개를 개발, 최대 35dB의 소음 차폐 성능과 무선통신, 24시간 이상 사용 가능한 배터리 지속시간을 확보해 현장 적용 가능성을 입증했다.
이외에도 다양한 기업들이 공정개선, 안전강화, 제품 성능 향상 등 기술지도를 통해 지역 산업 경쟁력 강화에 기여하고 있다.
위원회는 2025년도에도 지역 중소기업의 애로기술 해소를 위해 연구개발 과제 5건(㈜태산 외 4건), 시험분석 10건(㈜대주기공 외 9건)을 선정하여 본격적인 기술지원 사업을 추진하기로 했다. 또한, 중소기업의 R&D 마인드 확산과 성과 제고를 위해 연구개발 및 기술지도 사업을 지속 확대하고, 사업성과 홍보도 강화할 방침이다.
나주영 위원장은 “그동안 민산관 기술협력사업은 지역 중소기업의 기술역량 향상에 크게 기여해 왔다”며 “앞으로도 현장 애로기술을 적극 해결하며 지역 기업의 성장 동력을 키우는 사업으로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

K-Tech Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of distribution panels and electric automatic control devices, has introduced an intelligent access monitoring system that monitors whether protective gear is worn for unmanned safety management of remote factories, and has established a remote monitoring system at its headquarters to eliminate safety blind spots in unmanned factories.
Jungmun Co., Ltd., a metalworking company, has developed smart earplugs to protect the hearing of workers in high-noise work environments, and has proven its applicability in the field by securing noise blocking performance of up to 35 dB, wireless communication, and a battery life of more than 24 hours.
In addition, various companies are contributing to strengthening regional industrial competitiveness through technical guidance for process improvement, safety enhancement, and product performance enhancement.
The committee decided to select 5 R&D projects (4 cases including Taesan Co., Ltd.) and 10 test analysis projects (9 cases including Daeju Engineering Co., Ltd.) to resolve technical difficulties of local SMEs in 2025 and to promote full-scale technical support projects. In addition, the committee plans to continuously expand R&D and technical guidance projects to spread the R&D mindset of SMEs and improve performance, and to strengthen the promotion of business performance.
Chairman Na Ju-young emphasized, “So far, the private-public technical cooperation project has greatly contributed to improving the technical capabilities of local SMEs,” and “We will continue to develop it into a project that actively resolves technical difficulties on site and fosters the growth momentum of local companies.”
