충남 서천군이 미래 전략 산업으로 부상하고 있는 해양바이오 분야의 핵심 거점 구축에 박차를 가하고 있다. 군은 ‘해양바이오 산업화 지원센터’에 입주할 기업 및 예비 창업자를 상시 모집하며, 산업 생태계 활성화에 나섰다.
이번 모집은 해양바이오 소재를 활용 중이거나 향후 적용 가능성이 있는 기업 또는 예비 창업자를 대상으로 하며, 센터는 올해부터 본격적인 운영을 시작했다.
지원센터 입주 기간은 기본 3년으로 설정돼 있으며, 입주기업 평가 결과에 따라 최대 2년 추가 연장이 가능하다. 임대료는 1㎡당 월 4,200원 수준으로, 현재 확보 가능한 공간은 '79㎡(월 약 33만 원), 85㎡(약 36만 원), 108㎡(약 46만 원)' 등 세 구역이다.
