(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 지난 9일, 검단 뷰티풀파크 내에 위치한 인천표면처리센터(오류동)에서 친환경 녹색 표면처리 전문가 양성사업 수료생을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 구인.구직 만남의 날’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
서구에 따르면, 친환경 녹색 표면처리 전문가 양성사업은 인천표면처리협동조합이 사업 수행기관으로 참여해 국내 최대 표면처리 집적단지인 인천표면처리센터에서 신중년(5060)세대 대상, 표면처리(도금) 이론과 실습 교육을 제공하며, 취업까지 연계하는 원스톱 현장체험형 교육훈련이다.
이러한 취지에 발맞추어 서구 일자리 지원센터는 인천표면처리협동조합과 함께 ‘찾아가는 구인.구직 만남의 날’을 개최하여 표면처리 전문인력을 원하는 구인업체와 교육 수료생이 현장에서 바로 만날 수 있는 취업기회를 제공했다.
이번 ‘찾아가는 구인·구직 만남의 날’ 행사는 인천표면처리센터 입주기업을 비롯한 6개 업체가 참가하여 15명의 수료생과 바로 1:1 맞춤형 현장면접을 실시했으며, 최종 합격자는 개별 통보될 예정이다.
서구 관계자는 “서구는 제조업 중심의 도시로 뿌리산업에 경험이 풍부한 신중년 인력을 공급함으로써 은퇴 후 재취업에 어려움을 겪는 이들의 안정적인 사회 활동을 지원하고자 이번 행사를 마련하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역의 특성과 산업구조에 맞춘 지속가능한 일자리 창출에 힘쓰고, 구인.구직 모두가 만족할 수 있는 취업지원 서비스를 제공하여 일자리 분야에서 서구가 으뜸이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
