(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 10일 인천시의료원 백령병원과 도서 지역 학생의 건강관리 및 응급상황 대응 체계 구축을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 협약은 서해 5도의 유일한 2차 의료기관인 백령병원과의 협력을 통해 백령.대청.소청 등 도서 지역 학교의 보건 안전 기반을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 백령.대청도 특수성을 반영한 학교 응급상황 대응 지원, 학교 건강관리의 전문의학 자문 지원, 건강 평등권을 위한 공공의료 사업 운영, 학생 보건의료교육 및 교직원 건강교육 지원 등을 공동으로 추진하게 된다.
특히, 이날 협약식에는 청소년 건강자치단 소속 학생들도 참여해, 지역 의료기관의 역할과 공공의료의 중요성을 직접 인식하는 시간이 됐다.
도성훈 교육감은 “인천 섬 지역의 특성을 반영한 건강관리 협력 모델로 학교 건강과 안전을 확보하고 지역 의료기관과 협력해 지역 건강 인재를 양성하는 다양한 건강 정책을 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
