[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 승객이 스마트폰으로 호출하면 버스가 찾아오는 ‘타바라’가 지난 5일부터 기장~ 송정해수욕장까지 운행을 시작했다.
기존 기장 지역 관광지에 더해 송정역, 송정해수욕장, 광어골 등 세 곳이 추가로 정차지에 포함되면서 총 21곳 정류장을 오간다.
스마트폰 애플리케이션에서 출발지와 목적지를 선택해 호출하면, 이용객과 가장 가까운 곳에서 대기하던 타바라가 출발하고, 목적지까지 인공지능(AI)이 최단 경로를 산정해 운행한다.
택시처럼 1인 이용도 가능하며, 이동 방향이 비슷한 승객이 인근에서 호출하면 AI가 판단해 승객을 함께 태우는 합류 운행도 이뤄진다.
