대전시 상수도사업본부가 수돗물 사용량이 급증하는 여름철을 맞아 24시간 비상근무체제에 돌입했다.
기상이변과 수해, 폭염 등 다양한 재난에 선제적으로 대응하고, 안정적인 수돗물 공급을 유지하기 위해 오는 14일부터 8월 29일까지 47일간 ‘하절기 급수상황실’을 본격 가동한다.
급수상황실은 본부를 비롯해 수도시설관리사업소 및 동부·중부·서부·유성·대덕 등 5개 지역사업소 직원들이 참여해 전방위적인 급수 대응에 나선다. 수돗물 관련 민원 접수는 물론, 도로상 누수 발생 시 신속한 현장 확인 및 긴급 복구, 단수 시 시민 대상 안내 및 비상 급수 현장 지원 등 실시간 상황 관리로 시민 불편을 최소화할 방침이다.
