(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 16일, 윤환 계양구청장이 공원녹지과, 건설과 등 관계 부서와 함께 민원 현장을 찾아 주민들의 목소리를 직접 듣고 점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

계양구에 따르면, 이날 방문한 주요 현장은 서운근린공원, 서부간선수로, 방축천 일원 등으로, 이번 현장 점검은 여름철 우기와 연계한 안전 관리와 쾌적한 공원 이용 환경 조성을 목적으로 추진됐다.

윤환 구청장은 현장에서 직접 주민을 만나 민원사항을 경청하고, 배수 정비, 수목 정리, 시설물 개선 등 개선이 필요한 사항에 대해 관련 부서에 즉각적인 조치를 지시했다.

윤환 구청장은 “작은 불편 하나가 주민의 삶의 질에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다.”라며,  “주민들이 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 환경 조성을 위해 즉시 보완이 필요한 부분은 즉시 조치해달라.”고 강조했다.

계양구는 앞으로도 정기적인 현장 점검과 선제적 대응 중심의 안전 행정을 강화해 생활 속 불편을 줄이고 안전한 지역 환경 조성에 주력할 계획이다.
