성운대, 2025년 전문대학 기관평가인증 획득…5년간 ‘교육품질 인증대학’ 자격 유지

【브레이크뉴스 경북】박영재 기자=성운대가 한국전문대학교육협의회 한국고등직업교육평가원이 주관하는 2025년 전문대학 기관평가인증 심사에서 인증대학에 선정됐다고 22일 밝혔다.

따라서 성운대는 2026년 1월부터 2030년 12월까지 5년간 ‘교육품질 인증대학’으로 자격을 유지한다.

전문대학 기관평가인증은 고등교육법 제11조의2에 따라 대학이 고등교육기관으로서 기본요건을 충족하고 있는지를 판정하는 공인된 평가인증제도로 대학경영과 발전계획, 교육과정, 학사관리와 교수학습, 산학협력과 평생교육, 학생, 교·직원 등 총 6개 기준과 13개 세부기준, 30개 평가요소로 교육품질을 평가한다.

기관평가인증을 받은 성운대는 한국장학재단의 국가장학금 지원과 학자금 대출, 교육부 혁신지원사업, 경상북도 RISE사업 등 정부 재정지원사업 참여를 보장받는다.

윤지현 총장은 “기관평가인증 획득을 발판으로 영천시의 유일한 고등직업교육기관으로서 지역사회가 필요로 하는 우수한 실무 중심 인재를 양성하여 지역사회와 동반 상생하는 책무를 다하겠다”고 말했다.
