계룡시, 청소년별마루센터 '종합 안전점검' 실시

충남 계룡시(시장 이응우)는 청소년들의 일상 활동 공간인 청소년별마루센터에 대해 전방위적인 종합 안전점검을 시행했다고 22일 밝혔다. 

이번 점검은 이용자 중심의 안전 환경 구축을 목표로, 시설 전반에 잠재된 위험 요소를 사전에 발굴하고 이를 체계적으로 개선하기 위한 조치다.

점검은 '건축, 토목, 기계, 전기, 소방, 가스' 등 총 6개 분야에서 실시됐다. 이 중 건축·토목·기계·전기 부문은 전문 안전관리자문단 4명이 참여해 현장 실태를 면밀히 분석했고, 소방 및 가스 분야는 해당 센터의 정기점검 용역 전문가에게 의뢰해 기술적 기준에 따라 철저한 점검을 수행했다.

시는 이번 진단을 통해 시설의 구조적 안정성을 재확인하고, 이용자 편의성과 직결된 설비 상태까지 꼼꼼히 살폈다. 특히 화재 예방과 에너지 안전에 직결되는 소방 및 가스 설비는 법정 기준을 초과해 점검 범위를 확대한 것으로 전해졌다.

계룡시 관계자는 “안전은 무엇보다 최우선적으로 고려되어야 할 가치”라며 “앞으로도 지역 내 청소년시설 전반에 대해 정기적이고 전문적인 점검을 이어가, 쾌적하고 안전한 환경에서 청소년들이 활동할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 시는 이번 점검을 계기로 청소년수련시설 전반의 신뢰성을 높이고, 나아가 지역사회의 안전문화 정착에 기여하겠다는 계획이다.
