[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 다문화 사회로의 진입과 외국인의 생활 편익 증대를 위해 오는 8월 1일부터 창원시 대표 누리집에 베트남어 페이지를 정식 운영한다고 31일 밝혔다.
창원특례시 대표 누리집에 베트남어 페이지가 개통됨에 따라 지역 내 증가하고 있는 베트남인들에게 주요 시정은 물론 복지, 교육, 생활안내 등의 정보를 보다 손쉽게 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
창원시에 거주하는 외국인은 등록기준으로 2025년 6월 기준 22,053명에 달하며, 이 중 베트남인은 5,597명으로 가장 많은 비율을 차지하고 있다. 시도 3곳의 센터 운영을 통해 한국어교육, 문화교육, 조사기관이나 행정기관 등에서 통역이나 행정서비스가 필요할 때 적극적인 도움을 전하고 있다.
베트남어 페이지의 주요 서비스로는 시정 홍보, 주민참여 프로그램 안내, 복지 혜택 등의 지역정보를 담고 있으며 접속은 창원시청 대표 누리집의 언어 선택 메뉴를 통해 가능하며, 모바일 및 PC 등 여러 환경에서도 최적화된 서비스를 받을 수 있다.
