[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 농업기술센터는 6일 여름철 폭염에 대비해, 고온에 취약한 농업인을 대상으로 ‘온열질환 예방키트’를 제작해 610명에게 배부했다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 농업인의 건강을 보호하고 안전한 영농환경을 조성하기 위한 폭염 대응 대책의 일환으로 추진된다.
예방키트는 △홍보 리플렛 △쿨토시 △쿨마스크 △햇빛 차단용 모자 △쿨파스 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 실질적인 체온 조절과 자가 건강관리, 응급 상황 대응에 도움이 될 수 있는 물품들로 알차게 구성됐다.
배부 대상은 고령(65세 이상) 농업인, 독거 농업인, 야외 노동이 많은 취약계층이며, 농업 현장 예찰반이 직접 농가를 방문해 작목반 중심으로 전달할 예정이며, 농촌지도자·생활개선회 등 지역 안전 리더의 마을 순회 활동을 통해서도 배부할 예정이다.
특히, 키트 배부 시에는 폭염 예방을 위한 간단한 교육과 함께 온열질환의 초기 증상 및 응급 대응 요령, 119 신고 방법 등에 대한 안내도 병행할 예정이다.
