[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도산림환경연구원은 오는 12일부터 31일까지 경상남도수목원 방문자센터에서 광복 80주년을 기념해 나라꽃 무궁화 전시․체험 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 광복 80주년을 기념하여 나라꽃 무궁화의 아름다움과 의미를 도민들에게 널리 알리고, 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램으로 구성됐다.
가장 먼저 시작되는 ‘무궁화 우수분화 전시회’는 12일부터 31일까지 진행되며, 수목원에서 직접 관리하고 있는 다양한 품종의 무궁화 분화를 전시해 방문객들에게 풍성한 볼거리를 제공한다.
이어 광복절인 15일부터는 경남수목원에서 직접 키운 무궁화 화분 300본을 관람객들에게 선착순으로 나눠주는 ‘무궁화 화분 나눠주기’ 행사를 추진하며, 무궁화 열쇠고리 만들기, 태극기 퍼즐 맞추기 등 다양한 체험 프로그램도 오는 31일까지 운영될 예정이다.
특히 이번 행사는 광복 80주년 기념 8월 한 달간 경남수목원 무료입장 이벤트도 함께 진행하고 있어, 많은 방문객이 자연과 나라꽃 무궁화를 체험할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대된다.
