[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 부산관광공사와 함께 오는 9월 6일부터 10월 25일까지 매주 토요일, 서부산의 대표 생태 명소를 하루에 둘러볼 수 있는 체험형 관광 프로그램 ‘서부산 생태탐방 원데이 투어’를 처음으로 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 투어는 낙동강 하구의 자연생태와 친수문화를 연계한 신규 관광 콘텐츠로, 지속 가능한 생태관광 기반 조성을 목표로 기획됐다. 참가자들은 전문 해설가의 안내에 따라 서부산의 다양한 생태·문화 자원을 체험하게 된다.
운영 기간은 2025년 9월부터 10월까지로, 매주 토요일 오전 9시부터 오후 4시까지 하루 일정으로 진행된다. 참가비는 식사, 음료, 탐방선 탑승권, 보험료 등을 포함해 3만 원이며, 온라인 홈페이지를 통해 사전 예약제로만 신청할 수 있다.(www.cocoisland.club)
투어 코스는 서면역에서 출발해 ▲낙동강하구에코센터 ▲을숙도 갈대길 ▲야생동물치료센터·물새류대체서식지 ▲낙동강 생태탐방선을 둘러본 후 다시 서면역으로 돌아오는 일정으로 구성된다.
주요 프로그램으로는 ▲낙동강하구에코센터에서의 철새 관찰 및 생태 교육, ▲을숙도 갈대길에서의 해설사 동행 사운드 워킹 체험, ▲야생동물치료센터·물새류대체서식지에서의 조류 구조·치료 과정 견학과 보호공간 탐방, ▲생태탐방선을 통한 낙동강 하구 주요 생태 지점 조망 및 역사·문화 해설이 제공된다.

특히, 을숙도 갈대길 구간에서는 고감도 헤드셋을 착용하고 자연의 소리에 집중하는 ‘사운드 워킹 명상 프로그램’이 진행돼 참가자들에게 색다른 자연 체험의 기회를 제공할 예정이다.
부산시는 이번 투어를 시작으로 철새 도래 시기 특별 탐조 프로그램, 야간 생태탐방선 운영, 지역 축제(밀페스티벌·갈대축제 등)와 연계한 맞춤형 관광 콘텐츠도 순차적으로 확대해 나갈 방침이다. 아울러 관광객 만족도 조사를 정기적으로 실시해 프로그램 운영 품질도 지속적으로 개선할 계획이다.

The City of Busan, in partnership with the Busan Tourism Organization, announced the launch of a new experiential tourism program titled “Western Busan Ecological One-Day Tour,” set to run every Saturday from September 6 to October 25, 2025.
This newly introduced tour connects the natural ecology of the Nakdong River estuary with waterfront cultural experiences, aiming to build a foundation for sustainable ecotourism in western Busan. Participants will explore various ecological and cultural sites with the guidance of professional interpreters.
The tour runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs 30,000 KRW, which includes meals, beverages, boat tickets, and insurance. Reservations must be made in advance through the official website (www.cocoisland.club). The program is operated strictly on a pre-booking basis.
The itinerary begins at Seomyeon Station, followed by visits to four key locations: ▲Nakdong Estuary Eco Center, ▲Eulsukdo Reed Field, ▲Wildlife Treatment Center & Alternative Habitat for Waterbirds, and a ride on the Nakdonggang Ecological Exploration Boat, before returning to Seomyeon.
Key activities include indoor exhibits, birdwatching, and ecological education at the Eco Center; guided wetland interpretation and a "sound walking" meditation experience at Eulsukdo; observation of wildlife rescue operations and protected bird habitats; and a boat tour featuring panoramic views and commentary on ecological and historical sites along the estuary.
The “sound walking” segment, in particular, offers participants a meditative experience using high-sensitivity headsets to focus on the natural sounds of the wetlands.
The city also plans to expand the program to include special birdwatching sessions during the migratory season, nighttime ecological cruises, and customized experiences linked to local festivals such as the Mill Festival and Reed Festival. Regular visitor satisfaction surveys will be conducted to continuously improve the quality of the program.
