대구 북구(구청장 배광식)는 북구체육회(회장 류성진), 금호사수지역 소비쿠폰 가맹점 대표와 '대구 북구 금호강 파크골프대회' 지역소비쿠폰 운영 협약을 체결했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이날 맺은 협약은 생활체육대회와 연계해 지역경제 활성화와 상권 재도약을 도모하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
오는 10월 개최되는 파크골프대회에 참여하는 선수들은 1만 원 상당의 지역소비쿠폰을 받게 된다.
쿠폰은 금고사수지역 가맹 상가에서만 사용할 수 있어 대회 개최 효과가 지역 상권으로 직접 연결되도록 설계했다.
협약에 따라 각 기관은 역할이 분담하게 된다. 북구체육회는 쿠폰 발행과 배부, 정산 업무를 맡는다. 가맹점들은 쿠폰 사용에 적극 협력하고, 북구청은 전체 과정의 행정 지원과 감독을 담당한다.
류성진 회장도 “체육과 지역경제가 함께 발전하는 상생 모델을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
배광식 북구청장은 “대회가 생활체육은 물론 지역 상권에도 활력을 줄 것”이라며 “참가자들이 금호사수지역을 체험하고 다시 찾고 싶은 곳으로 느끼길 바란다”고 말했다.
