[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 25일 창원상공회의소에서 창원경제협의체 제4차 회의를 열고, 창원국가산업단지 내 만성적인 교통 혼잡과 주차난 해소를 위한 개선 방안을 집중 논의했다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 장금용 권한대행을 비롯한 시 실·국장들과 최재호 창원상공회의소 회장, 상공회의소 분과위원장, 주요 기업 대표 등 21명이 참석한 가운데 현장의 문제를 진단하고 협력 방안을 모색했다.

회의에서는 산업단지 내 출퇴근 시간대 집중, 공영주차장 부족, 통근버스 노선의 한계 등으로 인해 기업들이 겪고 있는 실질적인 교통 불편사항 개선이 주요 현안으로 제기됐다. 이에 대해 창원상공회의소는 △산업단지 중심의 공영주차장 확충과 근로자 전용·공용 구역 분리 운영 △기존 근무시간(08:00~17:00)에서 ±30분 범위 내 출퇴근 시간 조정을 통한 교통 분산 유도 △공공 통근버스 운영 및 BRT 노선과의 연계 필요성 등을 주요 개선 방안으로 제안했다. 시는 향후 관련부서(기관)과 협의하여 해결방안을 마련할 예정이다.
