브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회 제주본부는 동절기 시설보호와 점검을 위해 휴장했던 ‘렛츠런파크 제주, 말테마 파크골프장’을 24일부터 재개장한다고 밝혔다.
2008년 2만㎡ 부지에 18홀 규모로 첫 선을 보인 렛츠런파크 제주 파크골프장은 경주로 내부에 조성된 독특한 환경으로 큰 인기를 끌어왔다. 특히, 지난해에만 이용객이 2만6000명에 달 할 정도로 지역주민과 관광객들이 즐겨 찾는 제주의 대표적인 생활체육 명소로 자리 잡았다.
2026년 재개장을 맞아 기존 960m였던 총 코스 길이를 1215m로 확장했으며, 18홀 전체 티잉 그라운드를 장애인용 휠체어가 쉽게 접근 할 수 있도록 전면 교체했다. 홀 주변 그린을 식생잔디로 새단장해 이용객들에게 더욱 쾌적한 경기 환경을 제공한다.
올해부터 운영 방식도 사용자 중심으로 크게 바뀐다. 기존 예약 시스템을 없애고, 자유 이용 방식으로 전환하여 누구나 원하는 시간에 편리하게 방문할 수 있도록 했다.
