지난 15일 박완수 경남지사는 프레스센터 브리핑을 통해 “마창대교에서 발생한 재정절감액을 마창대교를 이용하는 도민에게 환원하는 것이 가장 합리적이고 도의적인 활용 방안”이라며 “출퇴근 시간대 마창대교 이용 비중이 전체의 34%에 달하고, 이 중 80%가 도민인 만큼 실질적인 혜택이 도민에게 돌아갈 수 있도록 할인 적용 시간을 설정했다”고 설명했다.
