브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= CJ그룹이 추석 명절을 앞두고 중소 협력업체와의 상생 차원에서 결제 대금 3000억원을 조기 지급한다.
CJ제일제당과 CJ올리브영, CJ대한통운, CJ프레시웨이, CJ올리브네트웍스 등 주요 계열사 5곳이 참여하며, 이로 인해 중소 납품업체 3800여 곳이 혜택을 받게 됐다.
이달 26일부터 추석 연휴 전까지 지급될 예정이며, 계열사별 기준에 따라 차이는 있지만 평균적으로 기존 지급일보다 2주에서 한달가량 선 지급된다.
CJ그룹 관계자는 “내수 활성화와 협력업체들과의 상생 차원에서 납품 결제 대금을 조기 지급하기로 결정했다”며 “명절을 맞아 중소 협력사들에 일시적으로 가중되는 자금 부담 해소에 도움이 될 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
이 외에도 CJ그룹은 중소 협력사들과의 동반 성장을 위한 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. CJ올리브영은 전체의 80% 이상이 국내 중소 브랜드 제품으로 중소 파트너사를 위한 상생 펀드를 운영하고, ‘K-슈퍼루키 위드 영’을 통해 중소 인디 브랜드의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 지원하는 등 지속가능한 K뷰티 생태계 구축에 앞장서고 있다.
CJ제일제당의 경우 매년 10회 이상의 지자체 연계 구매상담회 참여를 통해 중소기업 판로확대, 직접지원금 및 상생펀드 등 중소기업의 지속 가능한 성장을 위해 지원하고 있다.
CJ대한통운은 미들마일 운송플랫폼 ‘더 운반’을 운영하면서 물류 생태계의 건전성을 제고하기 위해 차주(화물 기사)에게 거래금액 전액을 다음날 정산해 지급하는 운임 익일지급 시스템을 업계 최초로 도입했다.
또한, CJ프레시웨이는 품질관리 인프라가 부족하거나 운영 노하우를 필요로 하는 중소기업 협력사에게 식품법규 및 표시, 산업안전 교육 등 식품안전 관리 역량을 지원하는 ‘상생협력아카데미’를 운영하고 있다.
