[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 2040 경남미래비전 수립을 위한 제3차 경남미래포럼이 23일 경남연구원 주최로 창원컨벤션센터(CECO)에서 열렸다.
이번 포럼에서는 그동안의 분과별 포럼에서 도출된 과제와 도민이 직접 참여한 경남미래대화의 결과를 종합한 2040 경남미래비전 기본구상(초안)을 공유했다.
기본구상(안)을 토대로 경제·산업, 도시·환경, 사회·문화, 지방정부 혁신 등 4개 분과별로 전문가 심층토론을 통해 정책과제를 집중 발굴하는 것이 이번 포럼의 핵심이다.
행사는 오동호 경남연구원장의 개회사와 함께 연구부원장의 ‘2040 경남미래비전 기본구상(안)’ 발표에 이어 4개 분과별 심층토론으로 진행됐다.
경제·산업분과에서는 ‘미래100년을 주도하는 경제경남’을 목표로 피지컬 AI 등 기술혁신을 통한 산업구조의 전환, 기후·인구변화 대응 경제구조 구축을 주제로 심층토론을 추진했다.
도시·환경분과는 ‘어디서나 살고싶은 균형경남, 사람과 자연이 공존하는 환경경남’을 목표로 세부전략과 과제에 관해 토론했다.
사회·문화분과에서는 ‘누구나 누리는 포용경남’을 목표로 다양성이 인정되는 지역사회 조성, 통합돌봄 체계 등 모두가 누리는 사회서비스에 대해 전문가들의 심층토론이 진행되었고, 지방정부 혁신분과는 ‘모두가 참여하는 자치경남’을 위해 행정체제 개편과 지방분권, 주민참여와 거버넌스 혁신 부문의 세부과제에 대한 열띤 토론이 있었다.
이번 포럼에는 경남미래포럼 위원 및 외부전문가, 경남연구원, 경남도청 관계자 등 약 60여 명이 참석했다. 분과별로 경남도 관련 부서 과장·팀장이 함께 참여해 실질적이고 실행 가능한 정책과제를 도출하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
오동호 경남연구원장은 “경남미래포럼은 미래 경남을 준비하는 지식공동체 플랫폼 역할을 하고 있다”며, “각 분과에서 제시되는 아이디어와 토론, 도민의 정책설계 참여를 바탕으로 안정과 성장이 조화로운 ‘2040 경남미래비전’의 청사진을 완성해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
