경기도의회 정윤경 부의장, 세계 평화의 날 맞아 ‘2025 경기 홈 페스티벌’ 참석

경기도의회 정윤경 부의장(더불어민주당, 군포1)이 지난 9월 21일 경기평화광장에서 열린 ‘2025 경기 홈 페스티벌’에 참석해 축사에서 세계 평화의 날의 의미를 되새기며 “경기도가 곧 우리의 집이라는 소속감과 자부심을 느끼길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 정성호 법무부 장관, 이재강 국회의원, 주한 외교사절 등이 함께했으며, YWCA가 주관하고 법무부가 후원했다.

정윤경 부의장은 축사에서 “이번 축제의 슬로건 ‘Making HOME’은 단순한 구호가 아니라 서로를 이해하고 신뢰하는 공동체를 만들어가겠다는 약속”이라고 강조했다.

경기도는 지난해 이민사회국을 신설해 다문화 사회 변화에 대응하고 있으며, 경기도의회 역시 ‘경기도 폭력 피해 이주여성 지원 조례’ 제정, 군포 ‘경기도 이주여성상담센터’ 개소 등 제도적 기반을 마련해 왔다.

정윤경 부의장은 “경기도의회는 사회통합을 위한 정책과 예산을 적극적으로 뒷받침하며, 평화롭고 따뜻한 공동체인 경기도라는 큰 집을 함께 만들어가겠다”며, “이번 페스티벌이 문화 공연과 체험, 나눔을 통해 서로의 마음을 잇는 소중한 시간이 되길 바란다”고 참가자들과 관계자들에게 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
