시는 지난 25일 고양 킨텍스에서 KBS N과 '드론·UAM 박람회 홍보 및 공동 콘텐츠 사업을 위한 업무협약(MOU)'을 체결했다고 26일 발표했다.
이번 협약은 드론·UAM 산업의 성장과 시민들의 인식 개선을 위해 KBS N의 방송 및 콘텐츠 제작 노하우를 활용한 홍보 미디어 파트너십 구축을 목표로 한다.

협약식에는 양 기관 관계자 20여 명이 참석했으며, 협약 체결 후 박람회 홍보 전략과 공동 콘텐츠 제작 방안을 논의하는 간담회가 이어졌다.
양측은 향후 실무 협의와 정기 점검을 통해 협력 과제를 충실히 이행해 나가기로 했다.
이동환 고양특례시장은 "이번 협약을 통해 항공모빌리티 산업 생태계 확장과 안전성에 대한 시민 인식 제고를 실현할 수 있도록 KBS N과 적극 협력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
이강덕 KBS N 대표이사는 "KBS N의 방송·디지털 플랫폼과 제작 역량을 바탕으로 고양특례시와의 공동 홍보 및 사업 추진에 협력해 드론·UAM 분야의 대중 인식 확산과 콘텐츠 품질 향상을 이루겠다"고 화답했다.

고양시는 이번 협약을 바탕으로 오는 11월 5일부터 7일까지 킨텍스에서 개최하는 제2회 드론·UAM 박람회를 차질 없이 준비하는 한편, 공동 콘텐츠·교육·체험 등 협력 사업을 단계적으로 확대해 지역 기반의 드론·UAM 산업 생태계 조성에 박차를 가할 예정이다.
