【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 2학기 늘봄학교 프로그램 운영 상황을 직접 챙기고 있다. 학부모와 학생이 체감할 수 있는 질 높은 프로그램을 제공하기 위해서다.
시교육청은 9월 22일부터 10월 1일까지 지역대학과 도서관이 운영하는 늘봄학교 프로그램을 대상으로 현장 모니터링을 진행하고 있다.
올해 2학기에는 지역대학 8곳이 참여해 319개 교실에서 문해력, 필라테스, 3D펜 창작, 자율주행 탐험 등 43가지 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 또 2·28기념학생도서관 등 10개 도서관도 힘을 보태 독서와 창작 중심의 프로그램 20개를 85개 교실에서 진행 중이다.
모니터링단은 17개 학교를 직접 찾아가 수업을 지켜보고 프로그램 내용이 학생들에게 잘 맞는지, 개선할 부분은 없는지 꼼꼼히 살핀다. 이 과정에서 학생·학부모 만족도와 민원, 건의사항도 함께 듣고 있다.
모든 늘봄학교는 학부모 공개수업과 만족도 조사를 매년 한 차례 이상 실시해 프로그램 질을 꾸준히 관리하고 있다.
강은희 교육감은 “아이들이 다양한 체험을 통해 더 크게 성장할 수 있도록 프로그램 품질을 높이고, 학부모님들도 안심할 수 있는 늘봄학교를 운영해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
