파주시의회는 손형배 의원이 대표 발의한 「파주시 전세사기 예방 및 안전전세 관리단 운영 조례안」을 지난 10월 17일 열린 제259회 임시회 도시산업위원회에 회부했다고 밝혔다.

조례안의 주요 내용은 ▲전세사기 예방활동 계획 수립 및 체계적 운영 ▲안전전세 관리단 구성 및 운영 근거 마련 ▲공무원·민간 단체와의 협력체계 구축 ▲전세사기 예방 활동에 대한 예산 지원 및 포상 규정 등을 포함하고 있다.
손형배 의원은 “이번 조례안은 파주시가 전세사기 피해를 사전에 차단하고 서민 임차인의 권익을 보호하기 위한 제도적 기반을 마련하는 중요한 계기가 될 것”이라며 “민·관이 협력해 투명하고 안전한 부동산 거래 문화를 확산시켜 전세사기 ZERO 도시 파주를 실현하길 기대한다”고 말했다.
