파주시가 주거취약계층을 위한 민관 협력형 주거복지 모델 '파주형 하우징'으로 제8회 대한민국주거복지문화대상 '상생상'을 수상한다.
파주시는 지난해부터 추진해 온 '파주형 하우징' 2025년도 사업을 성공적으로 마무리하며, 실질적인 주거복지 성과를 인정받았다고 27일 밝혔다.
시상식은 오는 11월 중 개최될 예정이다.

'파주형 하우징'은 파주시의 '기본사회 실현'과 '기본주거 보장'이라는 시정 철학을 바탕으로, 중위소득 70% 이하 주거취약계층의 주거환경을 개선하기 위해 민간 자원과 재능기부를 연계한 사업이다.
2024년부터 본격 시행된 이번 사업은 총 73가구를 대상으로 약 1억 2천만 원 규모로 진행됐다.
파주시주거복지센터가 사업 총괄을 맡아 설거지대(싱크대), 현관문, 장판 교체 등 생활밀착형 수리를 통해 주거환경을 크게 개선했다.
특히 이번 사업에는 파주도시관광공사, 파주지역건축사회, 경기사회복지공동모금회, 파주시지역사회보장협의체, 관내 건설업체 및 중소기업, 사회적기업 등이 참여해 민관이 함께하는 주거복지 협력 모델을 구현했다는 평가를 받았다.
김경일 파주시장은 "이번 수상은 파주시민과 함께 이뤄낸 결실이며, '파주형 하우징'을 통해 실질적인 주거 안전망을 마련한 결과"라며 "앞으로도 기본 주거권 보장을 강화해 누구나 안전하고 따뜻한 보금자리에서 살아갈 수 있는 도시를 만들어 가겠다"고 말했다.
한편 파주시는 주거복지센터를 중심으로 전세사기 피해자 지원, 맞춤형 주거환경 개선, 파주형 공공·기본 주택 공급 등 다양한 주거복지 정책을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다.
