【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=‘대구미래여성아카데미’가 제11기 과정을 마무리하고 지난 29일 수료식을 개최했다. 이번 과정에서는 총 37명의 여성 리더가 새롭게 배출됐다.
수료식은 이날 오후 7시, 대구시 행복진흥사회서비스원 여성안전테마공간 SISO 오픈교육장에서 열렸다.
대구시가 주최하고 (사)대구미래인여성(대표 김경이)이 주관한 행사는 홍성주 대구시 경제부시장, 이재화 대구시의회 부의장, 김경이 대구미래인여성 회장, 관계자 및 수료생 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
이번 과정에는 강은희 대구시교육감, 이수정 교수, 박미옥 작가, 김결이 원장, 유철균 경북정책연구원장, 조성래 서대구세무서장, 안명규 커피명가 대표, 민복기 대구시의사회 회장 등 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 강사로 참여했다.
강의는 미래지향적 사고, 여성 안전, 인공지능 활용, 생활세금과 창업, 건강관리, 스피치 기법, 마약 예방 교육 등 실질적인 역량 강화에 초점이 맞춰졌다.
지난 7월부터 약 4개월 동안 이어진 이번 아카데미는 총 16회에 걸쳐 행정, 문화, 정치 등 다양한 분야의 리더십 강연과 실무 중심 프로그램으로 운영됐다.
김경이 대표는 인사말을 통해 “각자의 자리에서 지역 발전과 여성 역량 강화를 위해 끊임없이 배우고 실천해온 여러분이 자랑스럽다”며 “오늘의 수료가 끝이 아니라 새로운 도약의 출발점이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
홍성주 대구시 경제부시장은 “여성의 역량은 대구 발전의 중요한 동력”이라며 “수료생들이 시정의 동반자로서 더욱 적극적으로 참여해 달라”고 당부했다. 이재화 대구시의회 부의장도 “여성의 역량 강화는 곧 지역 경쟁력을 높이는 힘”이라며 “시의회 역시 여성의 사회 참여와 권익 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Future Women Academy concluded its 11th course and held a graduation ceremony on the 29th. A total of 37 new female leaders emerged from this program.

The program featured lecturers from diverse fields, including Daegu Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee, Professor Lee Soo-jung, author Park Mi-ok, Director Kim Gyeol-i, Gyeongbuk Policy Research Institute Director Yoo Cheol-gyun, Seodaegu Tax Office Director Cho Seong-rae, Coffee Myeongga CEO Ahn Myeong-gyu, and Daegu Medical Association President Min Bok-gi.
The lectures focused on developing practical capabilities, including future-oriented thinking, women's safety, AI utilization, living taxes and entrepreneurship, health management, public speaking techniques, and drug prevention education.
The academy, which began in July and lasted approximately four months, consisted of 16 sessions of leadership lectures and practical programs in various fields, including administration, culture, and politics.
In her opening remarks, CEO Kim Kyung-i stated, "I am proud of all of you who have continuously learned and practiced for regional development and women's empowerment in your respective positions." She added, "I hope today's graduation will not be the end, but the starting point for a new leap forward."
Daegu Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Hong Seong-ju stated, "Women's empowerment is a crucial driving force behind Daegu's development," and urged the graduates to "participate more actively as partners in city administration." Daegu City Council Vice Chairman Lee Jae-hwa added, "Empowering women is the driving force behind regional competitiveness," adding, "The City Council will also do its utmost to promote women's social participation and rights."
