고양특례시 덕양구가 가을철 산불조심기간을 맞아 산불전문예방진화대를 본격 가동한다.
덕양구는 가을철 산불조심기간(11월 1일~12월 15일)을 앞두고 산불전문예방진화대원 발대식과 전문교육을 실시하고, 11월부터 본격적인 산불예방 활동에 나선다고 5일 밝혔다.
구는 지난 10월 29일 발대식을 열고 산불예방과 안전수칙 등에 대한 교육을 진행했다.

이날 감시원별 담당 구역을 배정하고 산불 안전 장비를 지급하는 등 산불 발생 시 신속하고 안전하게 대응할 수 있도록 만반의 준비를 마쳤다.
이어 10월 30일부터 31일까지 이틀간 한국산불방지기술협회 주관으로 고양시 3개 구청 산불전문예방진화대와 관계자를 대상으로 '산불방지 전문교육'을 실시했다.
교육은 산불의 원리, 현장 대응 요령, 진화 방법 등 이론 강의와 함께 산불진화차·기계화장비(동력펌프) 운용, 진화선 구축, 잔불 정리 등 실제 상황을 가정한 실습훈련을 병행해 진행됐다. 이를 통해 대원들의 현장 대응 능력을 한층 강화했다.
덕양구 관계자는 "발대식과 교육을 시작으로 산불전문예방진화대가 11월부터 적극적인 예찰활동을 펼칠 계획"이라며 "산림과 구민의 생명을 안전하게 지키기 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
