【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평삼보사회복지관은 6일 충북자동차전문정비사업조합 카포스 증평지회(회장 홍상혁)가 에너지 취약계층 어르신 30명에게 겨울용 경량패딩 조끼를 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이번 나눔은 에너지 취약계층 어르신들이 따뜻하고 편안한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
오종식 관장은 “매년 잊지 않고 지역의 어려운 이웃을 먼저 생각해 주시는 카포스 증평지회에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “전달된 겨울 조끼는 취약계층의 겨울나기에 큰 도움이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
홍상혁 회장은 “작은 나눔이지만 회원들과 정성스럽게 준비했다”며 “도움이 필요한 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있기를 바라며 앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 나눔을 실천하는 지회가 되겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 카포스 증평지회는 2009년부터 어르신 식사대접, 이불 지원, 저소득 아동 후원, 장학금 지원 등 다양한 나눔 활동을 펼쳐왔으며, 현재까지 총 5520만 원의 후원금으로 2,432명에게 지원을 이어오고 있다.
