【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 농업기술센터는 덕산읍 한천마을을 대상으로 ‘농촌 어르신 복지 생활 실천 시범사업’을 운영하고 있다고 11일 밝혔다.
해당 마을 어르신들은 마을 근처에 소재한 바노들 체험농장에서 떡 만들기, 장아찌 만들기, 고구마 수확 체험 등 다양한 체험 교육에 참여했다.
체험 교육은 안전을 위해 파종과 수확 활동은 임상인 한천마을 이장이 농기계를 활용해 작업하고, 이후 다듬기, 포장 작업 등 소규모 작업은 어르신들의 참여할 예정이다.
이번 사업은 마을 어르신들 간 교류와 협력을 강화하고, 신체 활동성을 높이는 등 건강 증진 효과도 이끌었으며, 해당 교육은 11월 중 마무리될 예정이다.
특히, 마을 공동체 사업으로 쪽파 재배를 추진해, 어르신들의 소득 창출도 이끌 예정이다.
사업에 참여한 한 어르신은 “각종 프로그램에 참여하며 무료한 일상에 즐거움이 생겼다”며 “앞으로도 마을주민들과 함께 할 수 있는 다양한 체험 활동들을 마련해 주셨으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
