이번 행사에는 산림담당 공무원, 유관기관 관계자, 지역주민 등 약 100여 명이 참여해 나무 주변 비료 주기, 보식, 정화 활동 등 숲의 건강한 생육환경을 조성하는 활동을 함께 했다.
육림의 날은 산림의 생태적 가치와 자원순환의 중요성을 알리는 날로, 군에서 매년 11월 중 하루를 정해 숲가꾸기 체험행사를 진행하고 있다.
