【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 군민의 정신건강 증진을 위해 추진 중인‘전 국민 마음 투자 지원사업’과 ‘생명 존중 안심마을’ 조성 사업이 높은 호응을 얻으며, 성공적으로 마무리 단계에 접어들었다고 13일 밝혔다.
‘전 국민 마음 투자 지원사업’은 우울, 불안 등 심리적 어려움을 겪는 군민을 대상으로 대화 기반의 전문 심리상담 서비스를 지원하는 국가사업이다.
해당 사업으로 지난 1월부터 10월까지 총 74명에게 심리지원 서비스를 제공했으며, 10월 말 기준 진천읍 24명, 덕산읍 36명, 초평면 2명, 문백면 1명, 이월면 7명, 광혜원면 4명이 지원받았다.
해당 사업은 높은 참여율로 인해 예산이 조기 소진돼 사업이 당초 계획보다 앞당겨 종료될 정도로 군민들의 관심이 높았다.
또한, 군은 상담 접근성 향상을 위해 덕산읍에 위치한 ‘이음 언어 심리상담센터’를 사업 제공기관으로 지정·운영하고 있다.
해당 기관은 2급 유형의 제공기관으로 등록돼 있으며, 기관장을 포함한 3명의 전문 상담 인력을 상시 배치해 대상자 맞춤형 심리지원 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
군은 올해 11월부터 12월까지 지원자에 대한 서비스 비용 지급 과 예탁금 정산을 마무리하고, 내년도 신규 예산을 확보해 지속적인 서비스 제공을 이어갈 계획이다.
이와 함께 군은 자살 예방을 위한 지역 안전망 구축의 하나로, 작년에 이어 ‘생명 존중 안심마을’ 사업을 운영하고 있다.
해당 사업은 지역 내 자살률 감소를 목표로 다양한 자원과 네트워크를 활용해 △자살 고위험군 조기 발굴, 개입 △자살 예방 교육과 캠페인 △자살위험 수단 차단 활동 등을 통합적으로 추진하는 사업이다.
올해 2차 연도 사업에서는 초평면까지 확대하며, 7개 읍·면 중 진천읍, 덕산읍, 광혜원면, 초평면 등 4개 읍·면이 참여함으로써 생명 존중 문화 조성에 더욱 박차를 가하고 있다.
이 외에도 2020년부터 운영 중인 자살 유족 자조 모임 ‘목련’은 건강한 애도 지원과 긍정적 지지체계 확립을 위해 활동하고 있다.
올해에는 보건복지부 산하 한국생명존중희망재단이 주관하는 ‘2025년 자살 유족 자조 모임 지원사업’에 최종 선정돼 500만 원의 사업비를 지원받은 바 있다.
윤순자 군 보건행정과장은 “정신건강은 일상의 기본이자 모든 복지의 출발점”이라며 “앞으로도 군민의 정신건강 증진과 자살 예방을 위해 다양한 서비스를 확대 제공하고, 지역 맞춤형 마음 건강 안전망 구축을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
