【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 가족센터가 추진한 가족 참여형 프로그램들이 주민들로부터 큰 호응을 얻어 15일 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.
센터는 아이부터 학부모까지 아우르는 맞춤형 프로그램을 운영하며 가족 간 정서적 교류와 유대감 형성에 기여했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
지난 8월부터 11월까지 운영된 ‘보드 상상연구소’는 초등학생과 중학생을 대상으로 매월 셋째 주 토요일 진행됐다.
스마트폰과 디지털 기기에 익숙한 아이들에게 보드게임이라는 새로운 놀이 문화를 제시하며, 창의력·논리적 사고력·사회성 향상에 중점을 뒀다.
전문 강사의 지도로 매회 다른 게임을 익히고 전략을 세우며 협력과 경쟁을 동시에 경험한 참가 학생들은 “머리를 쓰는 게 재밌었다”, “새로운 친구들과 어울려 즐거웠다”는 반응을 보였다.
또 다른 인기 프로그램 ‘엄마와 노는 토요일’은 지난 2월부터 11월까지 매월 셋째 주 토요일에 진행됐다.
초등 저학년 자녀와 엄마가 함께 참여해 소통하고 공감하는 시간을 갖는 체험 중심 프로그램으로, 심리테스트·도시락 만들기·업사이클링 체험·샌드아트·푸드테라피 등 다양한 주제를 다뤘다.
특히 프로그램 운영 기간 형제자매를 위한 돌봄 자원봉사 시스템을 함께 운영해 참여 가정의 만족도를 높였다.
참여자들은 “아이와 함께 웃으며 이야기할 수 있는 시간이 소중했다”, “서로의 마음을 더 깊이 이해하게 됐다”며 높은 만족도를 보였다.
