【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북사회복지공동모금회는 진천군청을 방문해 사회복지서비스 이용자들의 이동 편의성과 서비스 효율성 향상을 위한 차량 지원 전달식을 진행했다고 17일 밝혔다.
이날 전달식에는 송기섭 진천군수, 이민성 충북사회복지공동모금회장, 한순옥 진천 나눔봉사단장을 비롯한 사회복지기관 관계자들이 참석했다.
이번에 전달된 차량은 대한노인회 진천군지회, 진천군노인복지관, 진천군 학교밖 청소년지원센터로 총 3곳에 배정될 예정이다.
이번 차량 지원으로 각 기관은 노인, 청소년 등 다양한 계층을 대상으로 현장 중심의 신속한 복지서비스 대응이 가능해졌다.
이민성 회장은 “관내 복지 사각지대를 해소하고, 취약 계층에게 더 나은 서비스를 제공하기 위해 이번 차량 지원을 결정하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 진천군과 지역단체들과 협력해 맞춤형 복지서비스를 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 충북사회복지공동모금회와 진천군은 복지 협력 체계를 더욱 공고히 해, 지역사회발전과 복지 향상을 위한 다양한 공동사업을 지속적으로 추진할 예정이다.
