(재)파주문화재단은 지역 간 문화예술 교류 활성화와 상생 발전을 위해 경기아트센터(사장 김상회)와 문화예술교류 및 지역 문화예술 발전을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 11월 17일 경기아트센터에서 진행되었으며, 양 기관은 이번 업무협약을 통해 공동 문화예술 프로그램 기획 및 교류 협력, 지역 문화예술 발전 및 지역민 문화향유 기회 확대를 위한 상호 협력, 상호협력이 필요한 사업의 공동 참여 등 다양한 분야에서 협업을 추진하기로 했다.
특히, 이번 협약은 경기도 내 대표 문화예술기관 간의 협력체계를 구축하여 지역 간 문화격차 해소와 지속가능한 문화예술 생태계 조성에 기여한다는 점에서 의미가 크다.
파주문화재단은 경기북부 문화예술의 거점기관으로서 위상을 강화하고, 경기아트센터는 도내 예술자원의 순환과 확산을 적극 도모할 예정이다.
김영준 파주문화재단 대표이사는 “이번 협약은 지역 간 문화예술 네트워크를 구축하고, 파주의 문화적 잠재력을 알리는 계기가 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 다양한 기관과의 협력을 통해 시민이 체감하는 문화예술 향유 기회를 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
