【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군청소년문화의집은 지난 19일 도시재생허브센터에서 열린 ‘2025년 제9회 충청북도 청소년포상제 우수사례 공모전’에서 우수 포상센터로 선정돼 충청북도지사상을 수상했다.
충청북도청소년활동진흥원 청소년활동진흥센터가 주관한 이번 공모전은 도내 청소년포상제 우수 운영사례를 발굴하고 활성화하기 위해 마련됐다.
‘청소년포상제’는 청소년들이 봉사, 자기개발, 신체단련, 탐험활동 등의 영역에서 스스로 목표를 설정하고 이를 성취해 나가는 과정을 통해 청소년 성장과 도전의식을 향상시키는 자기성장 프로그램이다.
증평군청소년문화의집은 지난 2년간 포상센터를 운영하며 은장 11명, 금장 9명을 배출했으며, 현재도 동장 과정에 29명의 청소년이 참여해 활발하게 활동을 이어가고 있다.
이러한 꾸준한 운영 성과는 지역 청소년들의 자기주도적 성장을 지원하고 긍정적 변화를 이끌어낸 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
정해경 관장은 “이번 수상은 증평군 청소년들이 자기도전포상제를 통해 도전하고 성장하기 위한 노력의 결실”이라며 “앞으로도 지역 청소년들의 성장과 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
한편 증평군청소년문화의집은 청소년포상제 뿐만 아니라 지역 청소년들의 주도성 강화와 청소년 참여활동의 활성화를 위해 다양한 사업들을 추진하고 있다.

Jeungpyeong County Youth Cultural Center was selected as an Outstanding Award Center at the '2025 9th Chungcheongbuk-do Youth Award Best Practice Contest' held at the Urban Regeneration Hub Center on the 19th and received the Chungcheongbuk-do Governor's Award.
Organized by the Youth Activity Promotion Center of the Chungcheongbuk-do Youth Activities Promotion Agency, this contest was designed to discover and promote excellent examples of youth award programs in the province.
