【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군이 예비 근로자인 지역 대학생을 대상으로 노동권익 및 산업안전 교육을 진행하고 있다.
군은 이번 교육이 사회의 첫발을 내딛는 청년들이 자신들의 권리를 올바르게 인식하고, 안전한 일터를 만들어가는 데 필수적인 지식을 습득하도록 지원해 건강한 노동환경을 구축하는 데 이바지하길 바라고 있다.
이번 교육은 단순한 법령 안내에 그치지 않고 학생들이 실제 향후 직면할 수 있는 상황을 중심으로 구성됐다.
노동권익 교육의 경우 근로계약서 작성, 휴식 시간 보장, 해고 요건, 직장 내 괴롭힘 등의 내용을 상세하게 다뤘다. 또 산업안전 교육도 실제 사고 현장의 사례를 중심으로 긴급한 상황에 적용되는 작업중지권 등 비상시 대처 요령을 집중적으로 살폈다.
관내 대학교를 대상으로 진행하는 이번 사업은 강동대와 극동대에서 각 2회씩, 총 4회로 진행되며, 군은 앞서 지난 10월과 11월에 극동대 1·2차 교육과 강동대 1차 교육을 완료하고 오는 12월 강동대 교육 1회만을 남겨놓고 있다.
당초 목표 320인을 초과한 359명의 학생이 강의 수강을 완료했으며 수강 만족도 조사를 통한 사업 평가 결과 다수 학생의 긍정적인 반응을 확인했다.
군 관계자는 “미래 근로자인 대학생들이 건전한 노동 의식을 함양하고, 안전에 대한 경각심을 가지는 것은 개인뿐만 아니라 지역사회의 건강한 발전에 기초가 되는 일”이라며 “이번 교육을 통해 학생들이 노동 현장에서 자신 있게 본인의 역량을 발휘할 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
그러면서 “군은 앞으로도 취약 근로자의 권리 보호를 위한 교육 사업을 지속할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
