【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군의는 제333회 진천군의회(2025년도 제2차) 정례회를 11월 21일부터 12월 23일까지 33일간의 일정으로 개회했다.
이번 정례회에서는, 군정에 관한 질문, 2026년도 예산안 심의, 2025년도 행정사무감사 등 총 44건의 안건을 심의·의결한다.
회의 첫날, 5분 자유발언에서 이강선 의원은 파크골프장 시설의 단계적 확충, 안전관리 체계 구축, 대회 유치 등을 통해 군민 건강 증진과 지역 활력 제고가 필요하다고 강조했으며, 김기복 의원은 AI 행정지원 시스템 도입, AI 윤리 및 보안 가이드라인 마련, 공직자 및 군민 대상 AI 활용 교육 확대가 진천군의 AI 시대 선도를 위해 필요하다고 강조했다.
아울러, 임정열 의원이 입법·정책개발 연구 활동 지원 강화를 위한 '진천군의회 의원 연구단체 구성 및 운영 조례 일부개정조례안'과 산모·신생아 지원 확대를 위한 '진천군 산모·신생아 건강관리사 지원에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안'을, 김성우 의원이 주거약자의 안정된 노후생활 보장을 위한 '진천군 행복 나눔의 집 설치 및 운영 지원 조례 일부개정조례안'과 건전한 소비생활 보장을 위한 '진천군 소비자 기본 조례안'을, 김기복 의원이 농업재해 예방활동의 지원을 위한 '진천군 농업재해 예방활동 지원 등에 관한 조례안'과 스마트도서관 운영 및 정보취약계층 지원을 위한 '진천군립도서관 설치 및 운영 조례 일부개정조례안'을 각각 발의하며 의정 전반에 걸쳐 군민 복리증진과 지역 현안 해결을 위한 적극적인 의정활동을 펼쳤다.
진천군의회 이재명 의장은 “이번 제2차 정례회에서는 군 행정 전반의 실태를 점검하고 문제점을 시정하는 행정사무감사, 민생 현안과 주요 정책에 대한 질의를 통해 군민의 궁금증을 해소하는 군정 질문, 예산의 합리적 배분과 불필요한 지출 방지를 위한 예산안 심의 등 주요 안건들을 면밀히 검토하여, 책임 있는 의정 수행으로 지역사회 발전에 기여하겠다”는 의지를 밝혔다.
