이재명 대통령이 21일(현지시간) 남아프리카공화국에 도착해 2박 3일 간의 G20(주요 20개국) 공식 일정에 들어갔다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 G20 정상회의가 열리는 남아공 요하네스버그 OR 탐보 국제공항에 도착한 가운데 공항엔 양동한 주남아공대사 부부·남아공 측 빌런 오캄 산림수산환경부 장관·음마이키 두베 국제관계협력부 동북아시아 오세아니아 과장 등이 마중 나왔다.
이 대통령은 22일(현재시간) 오전부터 '연대와 평등, 지속가능성' 주제로 이틀간 열리는 G20 정상회의에 참석하는 가운데 1세션에서 '누구도 소외되지 않는 포용적 지속 가능한 성장', 2세션 '회복력 있는 세계', 3세션에선 '모두를 위한 공정한 미래'를 주제로 논의에 나선다.
또 한국이 포함된 중견 5개국 협의체 '믹타'(MIKTA) 소속 멕시코·인도네시아·튀르키예·호주 정상들과 별도 회동을 갖고 프랑스·독일 정상과 양자회담을 갖는다.
오는 23일(현지시간) 현지 동포 간담회를 끝으로 2박 3일 간의 남아공 일정을 마무리 후 튀르키예를 방문하는 것으로 모든 순방 일정을 마친다.

President Lee arrived at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, where the G20 Summit is being held, in the afternoon.
