파주시가 지난 21일 종료된 제29회 파주장단콩축제가 약 32억 원의 매출을 기록 하며 성공적으로 마무리됐다고 25일 밝혔다.
'청정파주, 장단맞춰 알콩달콩'을 주제로 열린 이번 축제는 지역 농산물의 우수성을 널리 알리고 방문객이 직접 참여해 즐기는 농업·문화 예술 축제 로 평가받으며 파주 농업의 경쟁력을 입증했다.

축제장에서는 장단콩을 소재로 한 다양한 문화 콘텐츠가 방문객들의 발걸음을 사로잡았다.
마당극과 거리극, 시민참여형 가요제, 청소년 랜덤 플레이 댄스 등 참여 중심의 프로그램이 펼쳐졌으며, 방문객들은 올해 수확한 농산물과 장단콩 가공품을 구매하며 축제를 만끽했다.
특히 콩튀기와 콩타작 체험, 꼬마메주 만들기 등의 체험 프로그램은 가족 단위 방문객들에게 큰 인기를 얻었다.
