【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 관내 가축분뇨 관련 시설을 대상으로 야간점검을 실시했다고 25일 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 이달 10일부터 21일까지 2주간 상습 악취 민원 발생 농장, 정화 처리시설 등을 설치·운영 중인 농장과 가축분뇨 재활용시설을 중심으로 진행됐다.
담당 공무원 3명으로 구성된 2개 점검반이 야간 시간대 악취 발생 여부와 시설 운영 실태를 점검했다.
군은 올해 들어 총 5차례의 야간 점검을 실시해 94개소의 가축분뇨 관련 시설을 점검했다.
특히 악취가 빈번히 발생하는 야간 시간대에 현장 대응을 강화해 민원 발생 시 즉각적인 조치 체계를 구축하는 등 주민 불편 해소에 주력하고 있다.
또한 악취 모니터링 차량을 이용해 실시간 악취 발생 여부를 확인하고, 관리가 취약한 시간대인 야간, 새벽, 주말에도 악취 농도를 분석해 현장 맞춤형 관리 방안을 지도하는 데 활용하고 있다.
군 관계자는 “향후 지속적인 야간 점검을 통해 군민이 체감할 수 있는 쾌적한 생활환경을 조성하고, 삶의 질 향상과 환경 보호를 위한 적극 행정을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
