【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군청소년상담복지센터는 24일 ‘2025년 증평군 또래상담자연합회 7기 해단식’을 개최하고, 올 한 해 또래상담자 활동을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
이번 해단식은 지역 내 초·중·고 또래상담자로 구성된 7기 학생들이 한 해 동안의 활동을 되돌아보고 서로에게 감사와 격려를 전하는 뜻깊은 자리로 마련됐다.
또래상담자들은 지난 1년간 학교폭력 예방, 또래문화 확산, 지역사회 참여 프로그램 등을 통해 건강한 청소년 문화를 형성하는 데 중요한 역할을 담당해왔다.
특히 올해 주요 활동 및 성과로는 △소통한마당 프로그램 운영 △학교폭력예방 캠페인 전개 △상담체험부스 및 홍보활동 △아동정책대회 참가 및 수상 등이 있으며, 이를 통해 학생들은 지역사회 변화를 이끄는 주체로서의 역할을 톡톡히 해냈다.
해단식에서는 △1년의 활동을 담은 영상 상영△우수 또래상담자 시상 △수료증 전달식 등이 진행됐으며, 7기 학생들은 활동 소감과 함께 후배들에게 멘토링 메시지를 전하며 훈훈한 분위기를 더했다.
센터 관계자는 “이번 해단식을 통해 또래상담자들의 활동이 지역 청소년들에게 미친 긍정적인 영향을 다시 한번 확인할 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 더 많은 청소년이 또래상담 활동에 참여해 건강한 또래 문화 조성에 동참할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
윤은미 센터장은 “또래상담자들은 학교와 지역사회에서 청소년의 마음을 가장 가까이에서 듣고 지지하는 중요한 존재”라며 “여러분의 헌신적인 활동이 지역사회 청소년 문화에 긍정적인 변화를 이끌었다”고 격려의 말을 전했다.
