【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 농업기술센터는 농촌진흥청이 주관한 ‘농촌자원사업 분야 농산물종합가공센터 히트상품 개발 경진대회’에서 최우수상을 받았다고 25일 밝혔다.
이번 수상은 지역 농산물을 활용한 가공제품 개발 역량과 지속가능한 지역경제 활성화 모델을 인정받았다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다.
이번 경진대회에서 군은 지역 농산물을 기반으로 한 히트상품 개발, R&D 체계 공정관리, 지역 농업인과의 협력 체계 구축, 브랜드 가치 제고 성과 등을 높게 평가받았다.
특히, 센터에서 개발한 진천샌드(가루쌀 디저트), 진천네 히어로(발효 흑삼 키즈 음료), 진천네 콩크림 쌀 티그레(기술이전 예정 신제품) 등이 지역 농산물의 고부가가치화라는 평가 기준에서 우수성을 인정받았다.

김수향 군 기술보급과장은 “이번 최우수상은 지역 농업인, 가공센터, 행정이 함께 만든 성과”라며 “앞으로도 진천 농산물의 새로운 가치를 발굴하고, 지역을 대표하는 브랜드 개발에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
