경기북부보훈지청 제대군인지원센터가 지역 제대군인의 성공적인 사회 복귀를 위한 취업 지원에 나섰다.
경기북부제대군인지원센터는 지난 27일 포천종합체육관에서 열린 '2025년 포천시 일자리 박람회'에 참가해 5년 이상 중·장기복무 제대군인을 대상으로 전직상담 서비스를 제공했다고 밝혔다.

포천일자리센터가 주관한 이번 박람회에는 다수의 공공기관과 민간기업이 참여했으며, 경기북부지역 구직자들에게 다양한 일자리 정보와 현장 면접 기회가 제공됐다.
센터는 행사 참가 제대군인들을 대상으로 직무역량 분석, 이력서 및 자기소개서 컨설팅, 민간 일자리 정보 제공 등 1대1 맞춤형 상담을 진행했다.
센터 관계자는 "제대군인은 풍부한 경험과 조직 관리 능력을 갖춘 우수한 인력으로 지역 산업에 큰 자산이 될 수 있다"며 "이번 박람회를 통해 민간 취업으로 전환하려는 제대군인들에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있어 매우 뜻깊었다"고 말했다.
의정부시에 소재한 경기북부제대군인지원센터는 국토방위 임무를 성실히 수행하고 전역한 제대군인의 원활한 사회정착을 돕기 위해 직업상담, 교육연계 등 다양한 전직 지원 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.
센터는 앞으로도 제대군인의 안정적인 사회 복귀를 위해 포천시를 비롯한 지방자치단체와의 협력관계를 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
