전북 순창군에 도내에서 세 번째로 '지역 예비군센터'가 설치됐다.
육군 제35보병사단(이하 35사단)은 지난 8일 순창군 행복누리센터에서 김광석(소장) 사단장과 최영일 군수ㆍ순창군의회 손종석 의장및 민ㆍ관ㆍ군ㆍ경ㆍ소방을 비롯 통합방위 관계자 등 90여 명이 참석한 가운데 지역 예비군 부대의 효율적 운영을 위한 통합 '컨트롤타워' 역할을 수행할 '지역 예비군센터' 개소식을 갖고 운영에 돌입했다.
이날 김광석 사단장 주관으로 열린 개소식은 ▲ 국민의례 ▲ 경과보고 ▲ 유공자 표창 수여 ▲ 축사 ▲ 기념식수 ▲ 기념촬영 ▲ 시설 관람 등의 순으로 성황리에 열렸다.
전군 최초(2022년 10월 12일)로 창설된 '감시정찰반'3주년과 '여성 예비군소대' 창설(2024년 10월 15일)1주년 기념식도 병행돼 지역 예비전력의 성장과 발전을 돌아보는 시간도 가졌다.
사단은 센터를 통해 예비군 지휘관과 예비군들의 임무 수행 여건 개선과 지역 예비군부대의 신속ㆍ통합된 능력으로 지역 안전과 대응 역량 강화에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
