청와대가 19일 북한 탄도미사일 발사 도발 관련해 긴급 안보상황점검회의를 소집했다고 전했다.
강유정 수석대변인은 이날 오전 언론 공지에서 "국가안보실이 이날 발생한 북한 탄도미사일 발사 관련해 김현종 안보실 안보1차장 주재로 긴급 안보상황점검회의를 진행한다"고 전했다.
앞서 합동참보본부는 이날 오전 6시 10분께 북한 신포 일대서 동해상으로 발사된 미상 탄도미사일 수 발을 포착한 가운데 이달 들어 네 번째 미사일 도발이다.
북한은 앞서 지난 7일에도 탄도미사일 발사를 시도했으나 실패한 가운제 지난 8일 경우 두 차례 단거리 탄도미사일을 발사한 바 있다.
