【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 군 노인복지관에서 1·2·3세대 시민참여형 정책 페스티벌 ‘세세함 프로젝트’를 개최했다고 9일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 세대 간 인식 차이를 이해하고 지역사회 변화를 위한 정책 방향을 함께 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.
1세대 선암회, 2세대 진천군 생활개선회, 3세대 우석대학교와 학교밖 청소년지원센터 등 총 70여 명이 참여했다.
그간 세세함 프로젝트를 이끌어온 선암회는 이번 행사에서도 세대 간 의견 조정과 정책 방향 제시에 중심적인 역할을 했다.
선암회는 단순한 참여를 넘어 ‘정책을 제안하고 변화시키는 시민 주체’로 성장했다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받고 있다.
실제로 선암회의 ‘세세함 프로젝트’는 지난 수년간 지역 문제를 발굴하고 현장 의견을 정책으로 연결하는 정책 거버넌스 중심 역할을 해왔다.
그중 지난해 하반기 시행된 진천군 시내버스 전면 무료 사업은 충북 최초로 전 연령·외지인 등 누구나 무료로 시내버스를 이용할 수 있게 돼 교통복지 실현 사례로 평가받고 있다.
또한, 올해 1월부터 65세 이상 미접종자에게 대상포진 예방접종을 무료로 지원해 주민건강 증진에도 이바지했다.
진천군 선암회 관계자는 “앞으로도 세세함 프로젝트를 통해 세대 간 공감과 협력을 촉진할 수 있는 정책을 마련하고, 주민 의견을 반영한 지역 문제 해결형 정책 모델 개발에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
