【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 1월 자동차세 연납 고지서를 지역 내 차량 소유자에게 일괄 발송했다고 12일 밝혔다.
자동차세 연납 제도는 매년 6월과 12월 두 차례 부과되는 자동차세를 1월에 미리 납부할 경우 연 세액의 5%(실제 공제율 약 4.57%)를 공제해 주는 제도다.
군은 다른 지자체와 달리 별도의 연납 신청 절차 없이, 2026년 1월 1일 기준 관내 차량 소유자 전체에게 연납 고지서를 먼저 발송하는 방식을 운영하고 있다.
고지서를 받은 차량 소유자는 신청 절차 없이 기한 내 납부만 하면 연납 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
다만 1월 1일 이후 전입자 등 고지서를 받지 못한 차량 소유자는 군청 재무과를 통해 전화 또는 방문 신청을 하거나, 오는 16일부터 위택스에서 연납 신청 및 납부가 가능하다.
납부는 금융기관 방문을 비롯해 가상계좌, 위택스, 모바일 앱, 인터넷 지로, CD·ATM기기, 지방세 ARS 등을 통해 할 수 있다.
모바일 전자송달 서비스를 신청한 경우에는 간편결제 앱이나 금융 앱을 통해서도 납부 가능하다.
연납은 자동이체가 적용되지 않아 자동이체 신청자도 반드시 직접 납부해야 한다.
