【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 대구여성정치아카데미총동창회는 지난 15일 라온제나호텔에서 ‘2026년 신년교례회 및 회장 이·취임식’을 열고, 제19대 회장으로 이정득 씨가 취임했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 추경호·최은석 국회의원을 비롯해 지역 구청장, 시의원, 당직자, 회원 등 200여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
행사는 오전 11시 신년교례회를 시작으로 회장 이·취임식 순으로 진행됐다.
주요 인사들의 축사와 격려사가 이어지며 새해 인사와 동창회 결속을 다지는 자리가 됐다.
추경호·최은석 국회의원, 류규하·조재구·배광식·김대권 구청장, 대구시의회 이재화 부의장 등 정치권과 지자체 주요 인사들이 대거 참석했으며, 동창회원들도 함께해 신임 회장의 취임을 축하했다.
이정득 신임 회장은 현재 한국여성경제인협회 대구지회 부회장을 맡고 있으며, 대구시당 여성위원장과 대구여성정치아카데미 18기 초대회장을 역임했다. 다양한 경험을 바탕으로 동창회 운영에 힘쓸 계획이다.
이 신임 회장은 “동문 간 연대와 네트워크를 강화해 여성 정치 리더십을 키우고, 지역사회 발전에 실질적으로 기여하는 동창회를 만들겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
총동창회는 앞으로도 여성 정치인 역량 강화를 위한 교육, 멘토링, 지역 현안 참여 활동 등을 적극적으로 추진할 예정이다.

Newly appointed President Lee Jeong-deuk currently serves as Vice President of the Daegu Chapter of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association. He also served as the Women's Committee Chairperson of the Daegu City Chapter and the inaugural president of the 18th Daegu Women's Political Academy. He plans to leverage his diverse experience to lead the alumni association.
New President Lee expressed his aspirations, saying, "I will strengthen solidarity and networks among alumni, foster female political leadership, and create an alumni association that contributes substantially to the development of the local community."
The alumni association plans to actively pursue education, mentoring, and local engagement initiatives to strengthen the capabilities of female politicians.
